The Irish Independent are reporting that Rassie Erasmus has triggered the six-months’ notice clause in his contract with Munster that will allow him return to South Africa to become their director of rugby.
The South African has been linked with a move home in recent months and if these latest reports are true is will come as a huge blow to the southern province.
Erasmus led Munster to a PRO12 final and a Champions Cup semi-final in his first season at the Irish province.
