Racing 92 take on Munster at Thomond Park later on this evening in Round 2 of the Champions Cup – and they’ve been using an unusual training tactic to prepare themselves for the atmosphere in Limerick.
Thomond Park is set to be a complete sell-out, and with the stadium famous for its incredible atmosphere that usually gives Munster a huge advantage, Racing have been trying to simulate that with crowd noises while going through the lineout moves in training.
“10 seconds to get in the mood of Thomond Park!” Racing’s Yves Cartier wrote on Instagram.
A clever idea – but you can guarantee it will be a hell of a lot louder come 5.30 pm today.
