The Dragons are lining up an audacious bid to sign Australia outhalf Quade Cooper.
The Wallabies playmaker is currently assessing his options, after being told by new Queensland Red boss Brad Thorne that he is not wanted and to find a new club.
BBC Wales are reporting that Bernard Jackman and his Dragons team have held informal talks about a possible move, as they continue their ambitious plans to become the top team in Wales.
