All red.
The Springboks have today unveiled an interesting new alternate jersey, which is a striking and unconventional red colour.
The new jersey marks ’25 years of unity’ of the Rainbow Nation, with alternate and training jerseys combining with the classic home shirt colour of dark green to reflect the four main colours of the South African flag.
The new shirt will be worn for the first time against Argentina in The Rugby Championship on August 18, and will also be worn against Ireland in Dublin, in a break from tradition. Normally when the teams clash the away team wears their home jersey in a Test game, but the Boks have agreed to wear their new all red kit.
