Ireland have done it!
The wait is over after over a century, Ireland have beaten the mighty All Blacks by a staggering 40 points to 29 in one of the greatest test matches we have ever seen in rugby at Soldier Field in Chicago.
5 amazing tries and what can only be described as a monumental effort by every single player on the pitch. The streak has been defeated, the wait is over, Ireland have secured their first win over the All Blacks after 111 years of trying.
Some of the Irish heroes of the past, have take to social media since the famous win to express their joy and delight, in what was a famous win that will forever be remembered in the history of world rugby. No longer the nearly men, Ireland have done it.
No doubt there’ll be a few sore heads in Chicago today.
