Picking An Experimental Ireland Team To Take On The USA

Eagles.

Ireland may still be revelling in Saturday’s 16-9 victory over world champions New Zealand at the Aviva, but it’s back to business for Joe Schmidt and his Irish Rugby team ahead of this weekend’s final November Test.

The men in green are undefeated in 11 games at the Aviva, setting a new record against the All Blacks, and they will very much want to make it 12 wins against an ever-improving USA side who climbed to their highest ever World Ranking position on Monday.

A number of players have been released back to their provinces, and there are injuries to the likes of Kieran Marmion, Dan Leavy, Robbie Henshaw and Sean O’Brien. But Ireland have some pretty decent depth, and will still be able to field a pretty strong side on Saturday.

Here’s how we think it could look, making sure those who haven’t got any minutes yet this month get a run out.
