The best of the best.
Picking a current World XV is always difficult as you can’t keep everybody happy. While there are a number of players that simply cannot be denied a spot on the team, a lot of the positions are purely down to personal opinion.
That being said, I’ve decided to have a crack at it anyway to see what I can come up with. Just to clarify a few things before I’m asked; firstly I’m aware Coles and Davies are injured, but their injuries are recent enough and I reckon they deserve to be there as things stand.
In the back-row I’ve got with Picamoles at six in order to find a spot for him in the team. For me there isn’t an outstanding candidate at six that warrants him losing his spot.
Same goes for Kurtley Beale on the wing. I just feel he deserves a spot on the team and I couldn’t drop Farrell or Folau for him. Anyway, have a look below and let me know where you’d make any changes, if any.
