Munster and Ulster clash this weekend in one of two inter-pro ties.
Ulster will be hoping Munster have one eye on next weekend’s Champions Cup semi-final tie with Saracens, as they make a final push for the top four.
The northern province slipped up this past weekend, drawing at home to the Cardiff Blues. Munster meanwhile are pushing for a home semi-final and are nicely placed after beating Glasgow, with Ospreys losing to Leinster.
It’s been a disappointing season for Ulster, but there’s absolutely no denying they talent in their squad. As a result it looks pretty even when you try and put a combined XV together on paper.
Here’s what we think it might look like.
1. Dave Kilcoyne
2. Rory Best
3. John Ryan
4. Iain Henderson
5. Donnacha Ryan
6. Peter O’Mahony
7. Marcell Coetzee
8. CJ Stander
9. Conor Murray
10. Paddy Jackson
11. Charles Piutau
12. Jaco Taute
13. Jared Payne
14. Andrew Trimble
15. Simon Zebo
Let us know where you would make changes. The obvious one would perhaps be Bleyendaal for Jackson who are really close. Mayne even Earls for Trimble. It’s a tough one!
