The Lions suffered defeat in just their second game on tour yesterday.

Gatland’s men were simply outclassed by a Blues side that were full of confidence. While the Lions were much improved from their opening game, with the scrum and lineout functioning well, they need come together fast with some huge games coming up.

Up next is a clash with the unbeaten Crusaders, who have won all 14 of their Super Rugby games this season. They’ve named a formiddable line-up for the game featuring an All Black front-five captained by Sam Whitelock.

Gatland is no doubt starting to feel the pressure and it looks like he’s resorted to calling up his secret weapon…
