Nasty.

England and Lions winger Jack Nowell was on the wrong end of a nasty eye injury while playing for his side Exeter Chiefs against Newcastle in the Aviva Premiership yesterday afternoon.

Nowell departed in the 20th minute with blood flowing from a cut below his left eye, picked up while attempting to tackle Chris Harris. He was taken to hospital on Saturday night and has since posted a video the aftermath.

Luckily for him his side managed to secure 34-24 win, but unfortunately he faces a spell on the sidelines until his eye clears up.
