Paul Kimmage continues to try and rile up Munster fans with his one-man crusade against CJ Stander.
The outspoken sports journalist has made it known on several occasions, that he’s not fan of Stander and the fact that he’s been able to play for Ireland through the residency rule.
The three-year rule, which is currently under review, is up for debate- but the fact that Kimmage is a bit of a tool that targets vocal fan bases just to cause controversy is not.
His latest attack sees him compare Munster fans to Lance Armstrong followers. He states that he used to think that the disgraced cyclists fans were idiots, but they are apparently nothing compared to “these one-eyed Munster tools.”
Kimmage was referring to a CJ Stander graphic we created, that was brought to his attention by a Twitter user. We’re advocates of the rule being changed to at least five years, but there’s absolutely no need for Kimmage and his comments.
There’s only one tool here Paul.
