Paddy Jackson is closing in a move to newly promoted French side Perpignan according to reports in France.
The former Ireland and Ulster outhalf has been linked with a move to Mitre 10 Cup side Waikato along with PRO D2 side Brive, who his former teammate Stuart Olding has recently signed for.
But Perpignan have also been in the hunt all along as they seek out a top class operator at ten to guide them in the Top 14. They have also been linked with Springbok ten Elton Jantjies – who ironically enough was blocked from joining Ulster by the IRFU as Jackson’s replacement.
A good move for Jackson providing it goes through.
