This could be huge.
A change of regulations regarding overseas signings could lead to a massive flood of foreign signings in the English Premiership.
As things stand, a player who comes from a Tier One country without an EU passport, needs to have made at least one international appearance in the last 15 months. A deal however, has now been struck between the RFU and Premiership Rugby players for a new system that will come into place as of next month.
Under this new agreement, a player needs to have played 75 percent of games they were available for to qualify for a work permit, bringing the Premiership in line with the PRO12.
