Munster Issue The Joey Carbery Fitness Update We’ve All Been Waiting For

One step closer.

Munster Rugby fans may still be reeling following Saturday’s late defeat to bitter rivals Leinster on Saturday but they have been handed a bit of good news today with some positive news on the injury front.

Long-term absentee Joey Carbery has progressed to the next stage in terms of his rehabilitation with stating today that the outhalf “took part in some elements of training and the next stage of his rehabilitation from an ankle injury will see the outhalf manage his training load.”

James Cronin and Rhys Marshall meanwhile have been ruled out of Munster’s Guinness PRO14 clash against Benetton on Saturday.

The pair suffered respective knee knocks against Leinster on Saturday night and will miss the weekend’s action.
