Munster have revealed Keith Earls is set to return to full training this week, with the Ireland international likely to feature in this weekend’s Champions Cup semi-final clash with Racing 92.
Earls injured his knee in Ireland’s historic Grand Slam win over England at Twickenham last month, but has recovered much quicker than initially expected.
Meanwhile Jack O’Donoghue and Dan Goggin are being assessed for respective ankle and knee knocks, while James Hart is following return to play protocols this week, following Friday’ win over the Cheetahs.
James Cronin, who sustained a stinger/shoulder injury against the Southern Kings is progressing well and is expected to return to full contact training this week.
