Ah lads.
The South Africans need to brush up on their geography after this mishap in a recent online article. The piece by IOL discusses the up and coming PRO14 expansion and refers to last year’s finalists Munster as ‘Dublin giants.’
The reality is that the Cheetahs have taken their best 28 players on tour to the North for two matches – against Ulster and then Dublin giants Munster – in what was the Pro 12, before the Kings and Cheetahs were added after being cut from Super Rugby.
The article now seems to be removed but also states last year’s winner Scarlets are from Cardiff as opposed to Llanelli, and calls the competition the ‘PRO16.’
Get your act together lads. We won’t stand for it.
We all have a #Pro14 learning curve, it seems…
"Dublin giants Munster", eh?
