Munster take on Leicester this weekend in a crucial Champions Cup clash and fans are encouraged to pick up their Santa hats on the way to Thomond Park for a great cause.
Every year at Munster’s last home game, Bòthar do a massive fundraiser for charity. Last year they had 13,000 people wearing Santa hats in Thomond Park and plan to beat that this year.
Bòthar are an Irish run charity that deliver Irish dairy goats and heifers to developing countries. Irish dairy animals produce up to 15 times the milk that traditional animals in these countries normally would.
The Santa hats will be available on all routes to Thomond park, mainly outside the gate by Hassetts Cross and up towards LIT.
They are €2 and every cent goes to help families in the communities Bòthar works in.
