Munster Rugby look set to be forced to enter the market once again for a centre with Antoine Frisch’s future up in the air.
Frisch is contracted with the Irish province until the end of next season but looks set to leave in the summer following his declaration that he wants to play for his country of birth, France.
Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle are reportedly interested in signing the former Bristol Bears man but it now looks like Toulon are leading the race for his signature.
According to Rugby Pass, Munster are eyeing up Leicester Tigers’ former Ireland U20 centre Dan Kelly, the Manchester-born midfielder who qualifies via his Irish-born grandparents and was capped by England against Canada in 2021.
Sydney-born Piers O’Conor is another name on their list. The 28-year-old has been at Bristol Bears for the last six years but represented Ireland at U19s level in 2013 and England U20s in 2015.
