Toulon head coach Mike Ford will leave the Top 14 club at the end of the season.
The French side last week said the former Bath coach decided not to activate the option for an additional season in his contract and he will be replaced by Fabien Galthie.
After being initially recruited as an assistant coach, Ford took over from Diego Dominguez in October last year following the club’s poor start to the season.
Its seems however, he may end up staying in France with The Rugby Paper reporting that he has emerged as a target fro Top 14 outfit Bayonne.
Bayonne are currently bottom of the table and look set to be relegated to the PRO D2.
