“Muppet.”
Ireland got back to business at the Aviva Stadium yesterday, putting France to the sword with an impressive bonus-point win in Dublin.
Tries from captain Rory Best, Johnny Sexton, replacement Jack Conan and Keith Earls ensured a 26-14 win, and means Ireland have an outside chance of retaining their Six Nations title against Wales next week if results go their way.
More importantly Ireland looked a lot more fired up yesterday. They were visibly charged and looked like a different team from the one that underperformed against Italy a fortnight ago.
One man however who always looks fired up is Munster captain Peter O’Mahony – sometimes a little too fired up! The flanker was caught calling England prop Kyle Sinckler a “stupid c*nt” in the opening round and now the tv cameras have picked up him sharing some lovely words with a French opponent yesterday.
The Munster captain was caught calling one of his opponents a “fucking muppet” following a fiery exchange. Great to see he has been practising his French!
