Wales head coach Warren Gatland has been dealt a significant injury blow ahead of the Rugby World Cup in Japan with news that Taulupe Faletau will miss the entire tournament.
The Bath forward suffered a clavicle (collar bone) injury in what has been described as “an innocuous training ground incident” and will require surgery.
How long exactly he will be out is not yet know but he will definitely miss the entire World Cup. Big blow for the Grand Slam champions and their hopes in Japan.
