The Lions tour of Australia in 2025 could be set to break new ground, with an additional Test being currently considered by official. The Telegraph that the 2025 tour could also incorporate a fourth Test against Argentina. Rather than travel to Argentina, however, the Lions would face Los Pumas on Australian soil.
The 2021 tour of South Africa will go ahead as normal, but with the contract up for renewal between SANZAAR and the Lions, a new 12-year plan is set to be discussed that may include other nations such as Argentina.
“It would not be possible to stage a full tour of Argentina but we are keen to have them involved and they are keen to play us.” A Lions source told The Telegraph
“A game against them in Australia could add an extra dimension to the tour.”
