Beautiful.
Ireland’s 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign got off to the perfect start on Sunday morning with a resounding 27-3 bonus-point win over Six Nations rivals Scotland.
Tries from James Ryan, Rory Best, Tadhg Furlong and Andrew Conway left Scotland in absolute tatters and made it clear that Ireland are well up for this World Cup, despite a mixed 2019.
In the build-up to the game, Ireland were hit by a number of injuries, with the likes of Robbie Henshaw, Keith Earls and Rob Kearney all missing out. But their replacements stepped up in a really impressive performance from the Irish.
One man in particular who really impressed was Munster’s, Chris Farrell. He started the game on the bench but was called upon early on after Bundee Aki was forced off with a head injury.
You’ve probably seen this offload from him a number of times already, but we just can’t get enough of it. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate it once again. Absolutely beautiful. Poetry in motion.
