Leinster bound?
Wallabies centre Joe Tomane has confirmed on his Twitter account that he has played his final game for Top 14 finalists Montpellier.
The 28-year-old has played 17 times for the Wallabies and has recently been linked with a move to European Champions Leinster to replace the retired Isa Nacewa.
Tomane is a versatile back and can play at 12 or 13 as well as the wing, making him a perfect replacement for Nacewa who was a hugely versatile member of Leinster’s backline.
The eastern province have denied in recent days that they are seeking a foreign replacement, but with Tomane confirming his departure, perhaps he is off to Ireland after all?
Been an amazing ride with @MHR_officiel. Thanks for the memories. pic.twitter.com/PTX9fFrZZT
