Leinster Set To Drop Canterbury In Favour Of New Kit Supplier

Leinster look set to follow in the footsteps of provincial rivals Munster.

Canterbury acted as Munster’s kit suppliers for a number of years, before the southern province inked a deal with Adidas back in 2007. Since then the contract has been renewed three times, with there latest not expiring until the end of the 2020/21 season.

It’s now being reported by Brendan Fanning of The Irish Independent, that Leinster will end their longstanding partnership with Canterbury and sign a five-year deal with Adidas in time for the 2018/19 season.

This would leave Adidas with both of Ireland’s biggest rugby brands and would be seen as a real coup for the supplier. The deal will likely see the Adidas Leinster gear available only through Life Style Sports, as is the case with Munster.

Here’s how we think the new kit might look…
