Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of the Guinness PRO14 game away to Scarlets on Saturday evening with some key notes on a number of Ireland internationals ahead of the Six Nations.
Injury Update – Available for Selection:
Garry Ringrose: came through the game against Munster Rugby with no issues after his recovery from a jaw injury and will link up with the IRFU squad accordingly.
Dave Kearney: is due to return to full training this week after a minor hamstring strain ruled him out of the Munster Rugby game.
Dan Leavy: is due to return to full training this week after a minor calf issue ruled him out of the Munster Rugby game.
Injury Update – Further Assessment Required:
Johnny Sexton: will require further assessment this week by the IRFU medical team after picking up a minor muscle injury against Munster Rugby
Michael Bent: will require further assessment this week after picking up a neck strain in training
Tadhg Furlong: will look to increase his training involvement this week after recovering from a calf issue
James Lowe: will require further assessment this week by the IRFU medical team as he continues to recover from his groin injury

Jimmy O’Brien: will be unavailable for selection this week after injuring his hamstring against Munster Rugby at the weekend
