No luck.
Garry Ringrose is set to miss Leinster’s final two Champions Cup pool games against Glasgow and Montpellier, as well as a chunk of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign, after picking up an ankle injury in the win over Ulster.
The talented young centre has only recently returned from a shoulder problem, but is now facing at least six weeks out as he is suffering syndesmosis of the ankle, according to a report by the Herald’s Des Berry.
The same injury cost Leinster captain Isa Nacewa and back-rows Josh van der Flier and Dan Leavy six weeks before Christmas, while left wing Barry Daly was out for nine weeks.
Ringrose is now likely to miss Ireland’s games against France and Italy in the Six Nations at the very least, with Bundee Aki now in pole position to continue his November partnership with Robbie Henshaw in the centres.
