Leinster’s coaching ticket looks like it’s about to lose a man.
Girvan Dempsey looks like he could be on his way out the door at Leinster. The former Ireland fullback has become an important member of Leo Cullen’s backroom team having been promoted from his role as academy manager in 2015.
Midi Olympique in France are reporting that Dempsey is in advanced talks with Bordeaux about a move to the South of France to become the club’s new backs coach, with the man currently in that role, Emile N’Tamack, believed to be on his way to Toulouse.
Dempsey wouldn’t be the only Irishman on Bordeaux’s coaching ticket next season should he move, with former Ireland lock Jeremy Davidson set to take over as their forwards coach next season.
