Leigh Halfpenny is heading home to Wales.
The Lions fullback has been linked with a move back to Cardiff Blues, but The Times are now reporting that he’s set to sign for Guinness PRO12 champions the Scarlets on a three-year contract.
It is claimed the Welsh Rugby Union will be paying 60% of his salary and the region paying 40%. Halfpenny is set to replace Liam Williams at the club who will link up with Saracens this coming season.
A good move for both parties?
