Advanced talks.
Munster boss Johann van Graan has admitted the province are in “advanced discussions” with Springboks duo Damian de Allende and RG Snyman.
The World Cup-winning pair have been linked with a move to the province this week and while deals are yet to be officially done – van Graan is “confident” they’ll be able to finalise deals in the coming weeks.
“We are in advanced discussions with both players, but there are no contracts signed at this stage,” Van Grann said
“We are confident there will be a commitment in the future, subject to conditions, but at this stage no contracts have been signed and we have nothing official to confirm.”
De Allende play a key role in the centre for the Springboks on throughout the World Cup, scoring a crucial try against Wales in the semi-final, before going on to start against England in the final.
Snyman was mainly used from the bench but is still only 24 and is regarded as one of the best locks in the game right now.
