Squad update.
Irish Rugby have released a squad update following the weekend’s round of European action. Munster’s James Cronin has been added to the squad for the fixtures against France and Italy in light of Dave Kilcoyne’s injury.
Kilcoyne was replaced by Cronin early in the first-half of Munster’s win over Castres. He was seen leaving the ground on crutches, with his knee heavily bandaged. As a result he is being reviewed by the medical team at Munster, and has not travelled to Ireland’s camp in Spain.
He’s set for a scan on the injured knee this week to assess the extent of the problem.
Jacob Stockdale is expected to shake off a dead leg sustained over the weekend against Wasps.
