Back in action.
Ireland and Leinster back-row forward Jamie Heaslip is is course for a return to action in approximately six weeks’ time, according to a report by Des Berry in The Herald.
Heaslip has been pencilled in for Leinster’s PRO14 clash with Welsh region Ospreys on the weekend of March 24, one wee after Ireland’s potential Six Nations decider with England at Twickenham.
The three-time Lions tourist has not played since last year’s Six Nations, with serious doubts be cast over in career in recent months after a second operation on his back in October.
Should he return on schedule he could be available for Leinster’s Champions Cup quarter-final clash with Saracens on April 1.
