Not all heroes wear capes.
Alex Goode attained cult hero status over the last few days thanks to his absolutely hilarious three/four-day bender following Saracens’ Champions Cup win over Leinster on Saturday.
Goode rocked on to the second day of celebrations on Sunday morning rocking a full Saracens kit, that stayed on him until Tuesday, with him and his teammates making the very most of their win.
And teammate Jamie George says this is not the first time they’ve seen Goode like this.
“He does it every year,” George told the BBC’s Rugby Union weekly podcast.
“It is a fresh shirt but he has been wearing it now for two days. It probably does need a wash.”
“He is a very sloppy drunk but great value. He brings a huge amount of energy when boys are hanging on the second day and he rocks up in full kit with a gumshield and mouldies on.”
