Ireland got off to the perfect start against France in their Six Nations encounter at the Aviva this afternoon thanks a excellent try from captain Rory Best after just three minutes. A well-worked maul in the corner was finished off by the hooker and converted by Johnny Sexton.

Ireland almost had a second not long after with Cian Healy pouncing on France scrumhalf Antoine Dupont. But the TMO ruled that Healy had knocked the ball on and awarded France with a scrum.

But before that James Ryan made absolute mince meat out of the scrumhalf as play continued. The Leinster lock picked up his French counterpart and slammed him to the ground with a WWE style spinebuster.
