Irish Rugby Star Nominated For Sports Person Of The Year Award

Ireland and Leinster outhalf Johnny Sexton has been nominated for yet another award after being shortlisted for RTE’S Sports Person of the Year award for 2018.

The talented playmaker has already been named Guinness Rugby Writers Player of the Year and World Rugby Player of the Year after an incredible season for both club and country. Sexton has won every competition he’s played in including the Champions Cup, PRO14 and Six Nations.

He boasts a win record in the high nineties and also played pivotal roles in Ireland series victory over the Wallabies back in June, as well as this month’s November clean sweep which included a win over world champions the All Blacks,.
