Bad to worse.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Ireland following their shock defeat to Japan at the Rugby World Cup this morning with news that Jack Conan’s World Cup is over.
Conan hurt his foot earlier in the week and was spotted wearing a protective boot this morning ahead of their clash with Japan.
And now Irish Rugby have officially confirmed his foot is fractured, ending his participation at the World Cup.
Jordi Murphy was withdrawn from Ulster’s squad yesterday evening meaning he will now likely fly to Japan as Conan’s replacement.
