Wanted man.
Ireland international Kieran Marmion has emerged as a target for European champions Saracens according to the Irish Independent.
The Connacht scrumhalf failed to make Ireland’s 31-man Rugby World Cup squad with Joe Schmidt opting to go with just two scrum-halves in Munster’s Conor Murray and Leinster’s Luke McGrath.
Marmion is said to be seriously considering the offer from Saracens having been overlooked for Japan despite playing a key role in Ireland’s famous win over the All Blacks last year in Dublin.
The 27-year-old is English born and came through Ireland’s IQ programme, signing for Connacht back in 2012.
