Not long to go.
Ireland boss Andy Farrell has been handed a massive double fitness boost ahead of next month’s Six Nations with both Johnny Sexton and Tadhg Furlong set to be fit in time for the beginning of the championship.
Sexton suffered a nasty cheekbone injury against Connacht, while Furlong is nursing a calf problem after recovering from a recent ankle injury.
But Leinster have released an official injury today that stated both are “expected” to be back ahead of the Six Nations with Ireland set to take on Wales in Cardiff in their opening fixture next month.
A big boost for Ireland who will hope to go one better than last year, having finished second behind France in the final standings.
