Legend.
Chances are if you ask pretty much any current or former player who would make their greatest back-row of all time – legendary Wallaby George Smith would be there.
The former Wasps, Brumbies, Australia and Toulon man has done it all in an incredible professional career that has last over two decades. He’s won multiple titles and proved himself at the very highest level.
And it’s a testament to his professionalism that he’s still playing rugby at the very top at the ripe old age of 38. But all good things must come to an end with Smith set to leave Bristol at the end of the season and finally hang up his boots.
So how has he been spending his final week as a professional rugby player? Doing fitness and skills as extras at the end of training of course. What a man. One of the greatest of all-time.
Watching 1st team training this week & was struck by George Smith doing fitness & skills extra’s – in his final ever week as a professional! No wonder he has been at the top for 20 years! Young players trying to be the best they can – Be like George! pic.twitter.com/2HhT0W62rl
