On the move.
Munster outhalf Ian Keatley will leave the southern province at the end of the season and join Benetton Rugby according to a report in the Limerick Leader this morning.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has found himself way down in pecking order in recent weeks. The arrival of Joey Carbery, along with the return of Tyler Bleyendaal has reduced Keatley to a handful of substitute appearances.
The report suggests a deal is done and Keatley has signed with the Italian side who are currently third in conference B of the Pro14, winning seven of their 13 games this season.
Keatley will have to battle for a starting birth with Italian internationals Tommaso Allan and Ian McKinley, but both are expected to be on Rugby World Cup duty giving Keatley a head start.
