Huge Injury Scare For Eddie Jones Ahead Of Six Nations

England v Wales, IRB Rugby World Cup, Rugby Union International Pool A, Twickenham, London, Britain - 26 Sep 2015

Eddie Jones could be without Chris Robshaw for the Six Nations.

The former captain has flourished under Jones’ new regime and has become a key player in the current set-up as the Red Rose enjoyed an unbeaten year in 2016, lifting the Six Nations title and thrashing the Wallabies 3-0 in their own backyard.

Both England and Harlequins however, will now be sweating over the results of  Robshaw’s scan on an injured shoulder, which will take place on Tuesday.

Robshaw suffered the injury while playing for Quins against Worcester and was unable to take part in England’s training camp in Brighton.

He’s joined the squad today but will have a scan to assess how severe the problem is, making him a doubt for their Six Nations opener.

“Chris Robshaw will go for a scan to determine the extent of a shoulder injury sustained while playing for Harlequins against Worcester Warriors on New Year’s Day,” read a short Rugby Football Union (RFU) statement yesterday.

England kick-off their Six Nations defence against France at Twickenham on Saturday, February 4.
