Look who’s back.
Garry Ringrose could make his return to action as soon as this Friday, with the Ireland centre returning to full contact today after successfully rehabilitating from a shoulder injury.
Ringrose went under the knife to correct the problem following Ireland’s summer tour of the USA and Japan. But now looks set to make his long-awaited return in the coming weeks.
The centre could feature for Leinster in their return to PRO14 action against the Dragons on Friday, if not they are confident he will be abck in time for the clash with Treviso the week after.
Leinster also look set to welcome back captain Isa Nacewa who has recovered from an ankle injury. The return of both backs will no doubt soften the blow of losing Joey Carbery likely until the new year with a fractured wrists.
A double-header with Premiership champions Exeter in the Champions Cup awaits Leinster next month, and they will need all the star power they can get, if they’re to continue their excellent start in Europe.
