Here’s How Much Israel Folau’s Legal Case Will Apparently ACTUALLY Cost

Fundraiser.

Israel Folau has raised a few eyebrows and drawn plenty of criticism this week after he set up a fundraising page to pay for his legal proceedings against former employers Rugby Australia.

Folau was sacked last month following a disciplinary hearing with the governing body, who found he had committed a “high-level” breach following his most recent homophobic outburst on social media.

The 30-year-old is looking to raise $3 million dollars to pay for the suit, and has already raised close to $600k with almost 8,000 people donating so far on his GoFundMe page.

Josh Bornstein however, is an employment lawyer in Australia and has made an interesting statement regarding Folau’s case. According to Bornstein – Folau’s case will cost no more than $300k.

That means the sacked fullback has already almost raised double what he needs to fight his case – and is looking to raise 10x in total. Take what you want from that.
