Felix Jones has emerged as a surprise favourite to take over at Munster.
Current Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus is set to leave his post with the southern province in December, after agreeing a deal to return to South Africa. Erasmus will also be taking defence coach Jacques Nienaber with him.
Jones has recently been promoted to backs coach with Munster on a two-year deal, having impressed in his debut season as a coach. New Munster forwards coach Jerry Flannery is also in contention with odds of 11/1.
Former players Ronan O’Gara and Paul O’Connell are also in contention according to the bookies, coming in at 10/3 and 6/1 respectively. Other contenders include the likes of Andy Farrell and Conor O’Shea.
