“Not a chance.”
The 2023 Rugby World Cup is just days away, and like many Irish Rugby fans, we’re feeling pretty optimistic.
Ireland head into the 2023 edition of rugby’s showpiece event as Six Nations Grand Slam champions, and the number one ranked team in the world, with some big wins over the likes of South Africa and New Zealand in recent times too.
But it’s hard to overlook the fact that Ireland have never gotten past the quarter-final stages of the Rugby World Cup. Despite their current form and the incredible squad Andy Farrell has assembled, many fans are still being very cautious in their optimism.
And Guinness has summed this up perfectly with their new ad that encapsulates the mood of a nation quite perfectly. Check it out below for yourself.
