Ah lads.
Leinster have by far been the most impressive side in this season’s Champions Cup, winning every single one of their pool games on the way to becoming top seeds.
The eastern province are rightly favourites, but might be cursing today’s results because of the effect they’ve had on overall standings. With Wasps beating Ulster, current holders Saracens are now set to qualify by the skin of their teeth.
The two-time champions look set to finish eight in the overall rankings, meaning Leinster will welcome them to the Aviva Stadium for their quarter final.
Talk about bad luck. Saracens may have went through a bad patch, but they’ve certainly found form once again and are one of the few sides that Leinster will fear.
