It looks like Joe Schmidt might be a little light in the centre department for the November internationals.
The latest casualty is Ulster’s Stuart McCloskey, who injured his foot in the win over Glasgow which will rule him out until early November at the latest, which makes it highly unlikely he’ll be considered by Joe Schmidt.
He joins the likes of Robbie Henshaw who’s still weeks away from recovering and Luke Marshall who’s currently undergoing return to play protocols after receiving his third concussive blow in just three years on the sidelines.
The good news for Joe however is that Tommy Bowe and Andrew Trimble are back training with the first-team squad and should be available in November, providing they don’t have any setbacks.
