Three-time European champions Toulon have signed former All Blacks star Luke McAlister from French rivals Toulouse.
Toulon said on Thursday that the 33-year-old McAlister, who has 30 caps for the All Blacks, will join next season with an option for another season.
McAlister has spent six seasons with Toulouse after spells at North Harbour, Auckland Blues and Sale Sharks.
He won the French title in his first season with Toulouse, scoring all their points in an 18-12 final victory over Toulon.
An accurate penalty kicker, McAlister made around 150 appearances for Toulouse, scoring more than 800 points.
