What a weekend.
The European Champions Cup pool stages are officially over and we have our eight quarter-finalists. One English team has made it through, in the shape of holders Saracens.
Munster and Leinster both secured home quarter finals, while Ulster once again failed to make the knockout stages after being hammered by Wasps at the Ricoh.
Four Irish players as a result, have made Midi Olympique’s team of the weekend. Munster’s Keith Earls, Leinster duo Robbie Henshaw and Sean Cronin, and Scarlets’ Tadhg Beirne are all included.
