Former Wales captain Sam Warburton has had his say on Scotland prop Zander Fagerson’s controversial red card against Wales yesterday.
Fagerson was sent off with 27 minutes to go yesterday evening following a cleanout on fellow prop Wyn Jones that was deemed to be dangerous and illegal by the referee.
To make matters worse, Wales went on to score a try just moments later, resulting in Scotland eventually losing the game 25-24 despite being in control of proceedings for much of the game.
Speaking on BBC yesterday, Warburton sympathised with the Scottish international.
“If they are doing the review on Monday and he doesn’t clear him out, they’ll ask him what he was doing,” said Warburton.
What do you think? Was it a red card?
